Why
My journey with drawing has always been a personal one, never taken too seriously. But a few years back, everything changed when I got my hands on an iPad Pro with a pen. It was a rediscovery of the simple joy of drawing.
Despite not being a professional, I find drawing to be a therapeutic escape. It’s a way to disconnect from life’s problems and find a moment of peace.
The Tools
As I mentioned, I started my current phase with an iPad Pro. After a while, I added some watercolour, ink, pen, and acrylic. I draw often in my small notebook that I carry with me using Japanese ink pens. When I have time and the correct mindset, I draw or paint on larger paper. I recently started playing with acrylic, pouring over abstract paints that I then “find” images that I silhouette with an ink pen.
